Performing is a way of life here at MEPA College. Our busy diary of events provides many opportunities to gain experience and perform publicly, not only in our very own state of the art performance venue, but also at some of the world's biggest dance events such as ‘Move It’ and ‘Can you Dance?’.
Whether you are a singer, dancer, actor or triple threat - there are a countless options to showcase your talent!
Our range of performing arts projects are designed to reflect the demands of the professional performer including performances such as variety style shows, professional plays and pantomimes, musicals, cabaret style nights, agent showcases and much more.
MEPA College takes pride in having a very personal relationship with agents and casting directors in the industry. Once the students have navigated through the first two years of training, they will move into the final year of the programme. This year is devoted to professional development.
Our students will be educated and guided to prepare for life as a professional performer. Once we have established the student's strengths and skills, we personally invite agents and casting directors into MEPA College for a showcase of our graduating year. We are very proud to have a incredibly high agent success rate.
With our personal touch and connections to the industry, our students enjoy a long and healthy career in the path they choose.
To ensure each and every student gains an understanding of the diverse performance opportunities available, they must experience performing not only in musicals and variety type shows but also in straight plays and character building shows such as pantomime. Gaining experience in script work, accents, comedy and characterisation.
The biggest event of the year! The final show for the year threes and a chance to showcase how far they have progressed whilst at MEPA.
This performance is for all three year groups, but the year three’s will be highlighted in their chosen fields.
This evening is filled with large group routines, intricate pas de deux’s, phenomenal singing solos and harmonic groups, West End quality musical theatre numbers and much much more - a show to really wow the crowds!
